Bridgestone Expands “easytrack” to MRO Operations with SR Technics Spain
Introduction of “easytrack” builds on collaborative work with SR Technics Spain to enhance aviation maintenance efficiency and traceability.
Bridgestone Aircraft Tire (Europe), S.A. (BAE), a subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation, today announced the implementation of “easytrack” tyre management system at SR Technics Spain SAU, a tyre and wheel maintenance hub of SR Technics, a leading global provider of Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO).
Available on desktop and mobile, “easytrack” is a scalable digital platform designed to help airlines and MROs manage inbound and outbound tyre and wheel flows across single-site or multi-site operations, providing real-time identification, tracking, and documentation throughout the asset lifecycle.
Following the solution’s first official airline implementation in 2025, the project marks the second customer implementation of “easytrack” and its first application in a maintenance, repair & overhaul (MRO) customer.
MRO providers manage a large volume of tyres and wheels for multiple airline customers, making tyre and wheel management operations increasingly complex. By enabling efficient management of each individual asset, “easytrack” helps simplify these operations and improve traceability, ensuring greater accuracy, safety, and productivity.
The implementation of “easytrack” at SR Technics Spain SAU has digitalized processes that previously relied on paper records and manual data entry, reducing processing time by 45% compared with the previous process. It has also improved traceability, reduced the risk of data-entry and identification errors, and enabled more efficient management of inbound and outbound tyre and wheel flows and their associated records across SR Technics Spain’s Palma de Mallorca and Madrid locations.
These results were achieved through co-creation initiative between Bridgestone and SR Technics Spain SAU, building on their long-standing partnership. To meet the specific requirements of SR Technics Spain SAU’s wheel and brake operations, “easytrack” was adapted to support the management of tyre and wheel combinations.
