The Bridgestone-supported YART Yamaha team has won the 2025 FIM*1 Endurance World Championship (EWC) title, the world’s foremost series of endurance motorcycle races, after securing the second place at the Bol d'Or season finale in France on 20-21 September. Racing on Bridgestone BATTLAX premium motorcycle tyres, YART Yamaha’s championship title marks the sixth time and the fifth consecutive year that a Bridgestone-supplied team has won the EWC title.

The race was, as usual, full of excitement and surprises, with the BMW Motorrad World Endurance team – supported by Bridgestone – virtually world champion until just 30 minutes from the end, when a mechanical issue forced them to retire while they were in second place. The other two Bridgestone-supported teams, F.C.C. TSR Honda France and Kawasaki Webike Trickstar, also had to abandon the race prematurely due to technical problems, highlighting the difficulty and challenge represented by every race in the FIM Endurance World Championship.

Nonetheless It was a truly memorable race for Bridgestone supported teams, with Yoshimura SERT Motul able to secure the victory in the last race of the season. Furthermore, the top 4 teams in the final world championship standings are all equipped with Bridgestone tyres, reflecting a truly exceptional 2025 season.

Consistency, adaptability and race-winning performance

Bridgestone has supported teams participating in the full EWC series with the supply of BATTLAX brand tyres since 2017. The 2025 championship saw Bridgestone increase its role as sole tyre supplier to five EWC teams.

With races lasting eight to 24 hours, the EWC puts immense stress on tyres and demands exceptional durability. Being subject to these extreme conditions, Bridgestone racing tyres are designed with advanced technology and materials to provide maximum grip, handling and durability, allowing teams to perform at their best throughout the entire race. Bridgestone racing tyres are also designed to provide excellent performance in various weather conditions, giving riders the confidence they need to push themselves to the limit in every situation.

“We’re delighted for YART Yamaha and all of our outstanding Bridgestone-supported EWC teams after another successful, memorable season,” said Nico Thuy, Director Motorcycle at Bridgestone EMEA. “The FIM EWC is the ultimate test of rider and machine, and tyres play a crucial role in helping these teams push the limits. We’re very proud to see our Bridgestone tyres help deliver yet another title.”
